In Week 4 (4 January 2022 – General Knowledge, Question 77) we were asked what Adagio meant. I commented on that occasion that "questions about musical tempos are never very satisfactory IMHO."
My main point was that Wikipedia listed 21 musical tempos that mean either fast, slow or moderate. (I can now count 22.) As well as Allegro (which Wikipedia describes as "fast, quick and bright"), the fast tempos include Vivace, which Wikipedia describes as "lively and fast".
